DE LA ROCHE is a love letter to art, Colombian culture, and the radical act of self love. 

After visiting my home in Colombia in 2022 for the first time since I was born there in 1997, I had the best culture shock. I finally understood why our culture is synonymous with joy. I was reminded of the movie 'Eat Pray And Love' when the main character visited Italy and she learned about "Dolce far niente" aka "The sweetness of doing nothing". Although Latin Americans are hard workers, we always hold space for what truly matters and prioritize family, eating well, dancing, laughing, and art. There is always time. The days feel longer and slower in Colombia, in the best way. Over there it is not the norm to work 24/7 in the same way North America has normalized it. This realization transformed my purpose as a designer.
